Hi I am Jenny and I play the flugel horn in the band.

I started as a new recruit into the world of brass bands some 12 years ago on the tenor horn and have been with Sumner Silver ever since. I began my musical journey as a 10 year old on the clarinet and have continued to play in orchestras ever since. Other instruments in my arsenal are the Alto Saxophone and French Horn which I play in various groups around the city. My hobbies are golf (both playing and watching), biking, travel and being involved in the lives of my 7 grandchildren. Being an active musician has been a huge part of my life and I have been privileged to meet so many wonderful people through music. My motto is " Variety is the spice of life"
