Bands of the East for the People of the North - 29th March 2023

A number of brass bands from the Christchurch are joined together with other music groups and choirs on 29th March 2023 to perform a charity concert to raise money for those affected by Cyclone Gabrielle. Sumner was proud to be one of the bands performing that day, when in excess of $2,000 was raised for the relief fund.

We were delighted to be playing for the first time in the new Salvation Army Citadel at the northern end of Colombo Street. It is a beautiful building with an impressive main hall/auditorium which has splendid acoustics.
