Ferrymead Alive! - Sunday 6th April 2025

After the summer recess and a couple of months working on new material the band was delighted to perform for the first time in 2025, appropriately at the Ferrymead Heritage Park where it is the resident brass band.

Our Musical Director, Victoria van Uden, was away for the weekend, acting as one of the adjudicators at the Southland and Otago regional contest in Invercargill so the band played under the baton of Jason Seaton for this performance.

After a couple of months’ preparation the band played no fewer than six pieces new to its repertoire.

Our next performance will be on Easter Sunday, also at the band’s home in the Ferrymead Heritage Park. We’d love to see you there.
